Gettting Down With my Sister and Her Family

We went down to spend a few days with my sister and her family. She's a teacher as well, so we both have our summers free. She has three girls who are all close to Abby's age. That means that both Abby and I have a GREAT time! I love spending time with my sister and Abby ADORES her cousins.
We did everything from reading magazines in the driveway while the girls played, shopping at the outlet mall (we both got some great deals), watching Lauren play softball, lounging in front of the tv, and talking, talking, talking.
Here are the three amigos. Sophie, Abby and Julia were inseparable the whole time. They played so nicely. They woke up at 6:15 each morning and were ready to play. Here they are in the play room playing "house".
Aunt Beth has a great playground in her backyard. Abby and Sophie were outside much of the time. This was the permanent smile on Abby's face the whole time we were visiting.
Superstar Lauren!!
We headed to Lauren's softball game. They play the first inning with the T-ball and then the rest of the innings were coach pitch. It was fun to see her excitement, but the game did get long when it was coach pitch...two hours long...
Julia and Abby sat down on the electrical box to cheer for Lauren. We clapped and shouted so much we embarrassed my sister. It was hilarious! Lauren heard us and commented later that she liked it. :)
Here she is ready for the catch. She played first base and then third base.

Me and my little sis---a.k.a.---my best friend!
The girls found the school playground during the game and laughed and laughed. The playground was covered with torn up tire pieces which make it really comfortable to walk in, but for little girls with flip flops...it creates dirty back feet. We headed right home to the bathtub after the game.
Smiles..smiles...smiles, they NEVER ended! :)
