Family Fun in Indiana

With summer here in full swing, the best thing to do is to go down to Indiana and visit with my sister and her family. We love going down there but don't get there very often due to both of us having busy schedules. My sister is a teacher too so we both look forward to the lazy days of summer. Abby absolutely ADORES her cousins. I haven't' seen her that happy in quite a while. We stayed three days and she asked if she could stay longer. They're that fun!! Abby, Sophie and Julia giggling at the kitchen counter. Their smiles never left their faces all week!

While we were down there we decided to try some geocaching. We don't have a really good GPS, but we were able to find out enough information on the website to find a few caches. We did strike out several times and came up empty handed, but with a neighbor's help, Lauren was able to find the first cache! It was so exciting!!

Of course, when you find the first one, you want to find more and more and more. Here's Lauren with our second one!

The younger ones didn't really understand why we were so excited about it but they wanted to get into the picture too. Abby and Sophie loved sitting on the middle floor deck. It was such a hot day and the cool breeze and welcoming shade made the hammock the place to be!

Nana played game after game after game of Can't Stop and Skip-Bo with the girls. I remember playing games with my grandparents and I love watching my mom do the same thing with our girls. It's nice that they're old enough now to give us some competition.

Here are Sophie and Abby practicing their letters, numbers and shapes. Such cuties!
