Today is my birthday. I didn't have any grand ideas nor did I expect today to be an extraordinary day. I was wrong. Today was amazing!! Here's the breakdown:
4:44am- Abby woke me up. I settled her down and tried to go back to sleep. Never did...
5:21am- Alarm goes off, up and at it
6:39am-Walking to my parents front door to drop Abby off for the day. The door swings open and mom and dad serenade me! It was great! Then Abby gave me her present, a new pink glittery coffee cup! Then mom and dad give me their present, a cranberry umbrella and stand for my back porch! Yeah!! Then a gift from my grandparents. It's off to a great start!
7:12am-Phone call from my best friend-sister. Yeah!!
7:30am-Balloons and more presents from co-workers
7:50am-A dozen red roses, necklaces, picture frames, pink geraniums and more from my students and other co-workers
2:15pm- Surprise party from my students, complete with blue and orange cake!
4:30pm- Arrive home to a beautiful house! Good job Jessie!! I'm laughing out loud now. :)
5:30pm-Dinner at a local Mexican restaurant with my parents and my brother and his family
8:20pm-Ahh...Abby's in bed. The dog is snoring and my house still looks great!
Thank you to everyone who made this such a great day!! I am indeed a blessed woman.
