Who would have thought that on October 12
th we would head for a cookout? We headed to the beach this afternoon for some fun in the sun. It was almost 80 degrees, so what's better than a grilled hamburger or brat next to the channel? It was beautiful, there were boats going through the channel, there were lots of families, and there was sand between our toes. We didn't stay for the sunset. Apparently the state park "powers-that-be" decided to close the restrooms for the season. So we headed home.

Naywin. She got pretty good after a few throws. Here she is with Nana, giving everyone a thumbs up on her hamburger. It was a beautiful evening at the lake.
