Diving Board Queen

She did it!!
Today during our swimming lessons, Abby jumped off the diving board!!!! The first time the instructor held her hands and lifted her down to me. I was waiting for her in the water. She loved it so much she climbed right back out and tried it again. This time the instructor walked her down to the end and I said, "1,2,3 Jump" She jumped right in!!!! I was so proud of her! The second jump did result in a little more water in the face so she wasn't about to jump a third time. Sorry I don't have any pictures of this momentous occasion, the camera doesn't come along with us to the pool. But stay tuned to the Olympics in 2020, you may just see my Abby on the high dive. :) Lately I've been in the mood for breakfast food at dinner time. Tonight was no exception, so Abby and I had pancakes! She loves to help and begs to wear her apron. My grandma made us matching aprons so we cooked away while we wore our aprons. The pancakes were scrumptious! During my weekly cleaning Abby was a BIG help! She loves to follow me around with her own rag. I love it that she's learning to be so meticulously clean. Today I had cleared the kitchen of all items because I was busy washing the floor. Abby helped for a while and then decided that her dolls needed to have story hour. It was so cute I just needed to take a picture! We ended the day playing Old McDonald had a Farm! There were squeals of delight and lots of laughter.
