Then it was off to my grandparents for dinner. We had a five course meal! It was delicious. Our afternoon was spent playing in the princess house, reading the newspaper and cooking (and eating) our pretend food.
Since it's sooo windy here, we headed to the mall for some active play in the play yard. There was another little girl there who was delightful. They played together nicely and I was able to chat with her mom.
Finally, home again for dinner and haircuts. First I trimmed our dog's face, and then Abby headed to the sink for a trim of her bangs. Lately they've been in her face and covering her gorgeous eyes. Now she can see better and I can gaze into her sparkling eyes. After a few Dora computer games it was off to bed!
I bought these letters for Abby's bedroom almost a year ago. I finally got around to painting them pink and lathering them with glitter. It only took two different trips to the store to find the right color and three coats of paint to make them look good. Right now the glitter is drying, so here's to hoping they'll turn out. I'm planning on putting them up above her bed tomorrow. We'll see if that actually happens...
