Today I earned my paycheck!
My class went on a walking field trip
to the neighborhood settler's house and museum. We walked and walked and walked! First we went to the settler's house, then we walked to the museum, then it was a short walk to our picnic lunch. After lunch, you guessed it, we walked through town to visit three other prominent neighborhood places. It was a glorious morning, but it began to rain about 20 minutes after lunch. We were all tired and wet. We had arranged for the bus to pick us up and drive us back to school. It was a great field trip, but tomorrow it will be nice to return to our normal schedule.
