Today we went to the circus! Abby's never been and I thought it was time for this fun experience! We dropped Grace off at Uncle Dave and Aunt Jodi's, grabbed Papa and Nana and headed to see the circus!

There was a petting zoo before the show. Abby had seen most
of the animals before, but the elephants were fun to see. When I asked her what she thought of them, she said, "They're hairy!" Later, the elephants were my favorite part of the show.

This is Abby before the show. Can you see the nervousness on her face? She was totally unsure of what was going to happen and asked lots and lots of questions. It's hard to explain a circus, it's just something that you have to experience. After the show, she was all smiles and was making plans for using her dress up clothes to become an aerialist dancer!
The bears were the scariest part for Abby. She didn't like that there was no cage for them. She thought they might come after her. I reassured her that they were on a leash and we were high up in the stands so there was no chance they would come to get her.
