Today we headed down to Indiana to see our family and help celebrate birthdays! We left early this morning and were on the road by 7:30am. It's just over 2 hours to my sister's house, but 2 hours can be a long ride. We headed straight to my sister's church and met them there. After church, which included Sunday school for the girls, complete with crafts and songs, we headed home for a birthday celebration. We were only there until just after 3pm, then it was another 2+ hour ride home. So the question is, "Is a four hour car ride worth the 5 hours we spent there?" The answer is a resounding YES! We love our family!!!
My girls were so excited this morning. They love spending time with their cousins. This picture is so precious! They do love each other.

Before church we drank hot chocolate, coffee and doughnuts. They had a little cafe at the church and it was just right before the service. It also allowed the girls to run around and act crazy after the 2 hour car ride.
It was Sophie's birthday. She's turning 6 years old! These two goofballs had a great time giggling together.

It wasn't Julia's birthday, but we're not sure if we'll see her next month and we wanted to give her the presents before they had their spring break. She'll be using them on her vacation, so we brought them along with us. She was only too happy to open them. :)
