I also had report cards and parent teacher conferences this week. I dread this week because I'm not at home as much and I miss seeing the girls. Two night this week I saw Grace for only 20 minutes. She was at home asleep in bed by the time I got home from school. It's nice to have this week over.
Abby got a new doll for Christmas and Nana made her a Dutch outfit! It matches Abby's outfit perfectly and is so adorable. Abby spends hours changing clothes and tucking her in to her new bed. She named her doll, Hope. It's a perfect name!
We met up with our SCAM friends and brought along some cupcake ice cream cones. The kids loved it and there were even a few left over for us to enjoy later. Such an easy recipe, I'm sure we'll be making these again.
Snuggling with Jessie while mom is gone to parent teacher conferences....awesome!
It hasn't all been work and no play, we also went to Chuck E. Cheese! This picture cracks me up because they're supposed to be shooting their water guns straight into the clown face. Both of these goofballs just kept moving them around and around and then giggling.
Abby went on a ride through the air and this one quickly became her favorite! She went on it over and over again!

What have we been up to?
We've been busy! I haven't updated the blog in over a month. This is so unusual. I don't' think I've ever gone so long before without writing a post. Sometimes I wonder why people even stop to read it. We don't led exciting lives. Nothing extraordinary happens. It's just me blogging about the routine of our life. But apparently the routine of life is interesting to read, and I've heard from several people that they miss the blog posts. So, I'm back, enjoy your reading!
Abby's been in swimming lessons for the last 6 weeks. She loves it! She went swimming from 10:15 to 11 am each Saturday. After getting her into the water, we had only about 30 minutes left. Parents were not allowed to stay and watch so Grace and I usually headed to the library to get some new books and then back to pick up Abby. She got her report card today and passed her level. Now she's onto Level 2! Yeah! She asked for more swimming lessons...I guess I have to find the paperwork and sign her up for more. She should be a great swimmer by this summer. The fun part if that she will start swimming lessons next month in school. This girl is a fish!
This past month has also been filled with sickness. Yucky sickness. Everyone, and I mean everyone got the stomach flu. It was a nasty week filled with extra laundry, sub plans, and lots of medicine. It's so nice to have everyone healthy again.
