Lauren and Julia started school today. They were so excited. The bus came to pick them up this morning at 6:50am, doesn't that sound early? Sophie got to stay home with us and Beth went off to school meetings. She starts school on Monday. I decided to go shopping and there's a great outlet mall down the road so I buckled up the 3 girls I had with me and off we went. They didn't get a thing...but I found quite a few good deals. By the time we got home they were ready for lunch and then some swimming down by the pool.
In order to get ready for school, Beth and I attacked the tubs and tubs of clothes for her 3 girls. It took quite a while, but we got it done! The girls had to try on lots of clothes and then outfits were switched around, but I think they're all ready. Here's Beth with the pile of clothes ready for Julia. Yep, that's right, this pile is for just ONE girl. All I could say is "Whoa!"
The kids all built a huge fort downstairs and then played for hours. It really did turn out quite cool.
Here they are! Lauren and Julia were waiting for the bus and Beth hopped in her car for work as soon as the bus came. All three girls were headed to the first day of school.
Meanwhile, the girls and I had breakfast and then played for a while. I mean, we weren't getting ready for school yet. We're still on summer vacation for a few more days. :)
