Grace is three years old! I made her this "3" cake out of skittles. It was really an easy cake to make and she loved it. She tried to grab a few skittles here and there when I wasn't looking and I'm thinking she was successful in sneaking some!
We had my parents over for dinner and the party. We decided to do her presents before eating. She saw the presents on the cabinet yesterday and couldn't understand why she couldn't open them all right then and there. She found it hard to wait. But today she did great and ripped right into those presents! Abby was her cheerleader and clapped for her as she opened each one.
Aunt Beth and Uncle Jeff got her a Baby Alive girl and it looks just like Grace. It's so adorable and Grace was thrilled!
She loves to play on my ipad so we got her a smaller version that plays Barney and Elmo songs and asks questions about the pictures on the screen. It even has a microphone that works. She's been singing with it ever since.
She also got two new pairs of high heel shoes. She's wearing the blue pair in this picture.
Both girls wore their birthday princess party hats for dinner. I love these two girls!
Abby brought up the highchair for Grace and she immediately started feeding her new doll. We asked her if the doll had a name and Grace said, "Girl". So, I guess that's it for now.
She fed and fed and fed this doll. It was hilarious to listen to her talk while feeding her. It was like listening to a mini- me. She repeated everything that I usually say to her while eating. It was so fun to listen to her.
This picture cracks me up. She's super excited to be three and to have her own birthday. I love her face!
