Carnival Night

Tonight was our school carnival.  We headed over around 3pm and came prepared for some serious fun!  It was a HOT day, close to 90!  I was so glad that the school was air conditioned.  We bought our tickets and found Abby's friends right away.  There were so many games to play and with each game you won tickets.  The tickets could be redeemed for prizes.  I bought two punch cards thinking that Abby would use one and Grace would use the other one.  Grace had no interest in any game.  The only one that she even glanced at was the one that had ducks floating around in the water.  She actually just wanted to play with the water.  Abby, however, went from room to room trying each one.
Here's Abby hanging out with her two buds, Faith and Olivia.
Grace didn't want to play any games, she just wanted to munch on her Cheez-its.  Silly girl!
 Plinko!
There was a big dunk tank on the playground.  Our school social worker was in it and Abby stood in line a long time to try her hand at hitting the target.  She got close, but nothing hit the target enough to send her into the water.  When she was done she just ran up to the target button and pushed it!  It was so funny!  Then the social worker splashed water all over Abby.  It was the highlight of Abby's night!
 Face painting!
Dinner was tacos, chips, pop, icees, and popcorn in the gym.  It was catered by Margarita's, a local Mexican restaurant, and oh so good!
