Her name is Goldie! Abby got a new goldfish last Saturday and she's thrilled. She's been
working on her memory verses and when she knew 3 of them, she was able to get a fish. This was a big motivator for her. She's been asking for a fish all summer. She attacked those memory verses and memorized them right away! So off to the store we went! She labored over which fish to choose and finally decided on a goldfish which she promptly named Goldie. It's so fun to watch her take care of it. She talks to her, feeds her and makes sure Grace stays away from her (which is the most important one! :)
While we were taking pictures of Abby with Goldie, this is what Grace was doing. She got into the crayons and was coloring Abby's reading book from school. She knows she's not allowed to get into the crayons on her own. Don't you love this guilty look?
Last Friday night Abby had a
playdate with another girl from school. She had
Karelly over and they played and played and played. She stayed for dinner and we brought her home after a fun Just Dance competition on the
Wii. It's fun to be able to have friends over for Abby. She just loves playing with others.
