Happy Easter!

Christ the Lord has risen today! Alleluia!
We started our morning with an incredible worship service. Then we came home for our Easter dinner. I was hosting this year and it was fun. I was able to get out my china, which was a gift from my grandma. It's so beautiful and we rarely get to use it, so when we do, I get excited. We had my parents over and some family friends. We adore this family!! We've known them for well over 20 years and it was fun to be with them again. This is how we started out before the worship service. One happy, one not so happy. Yeah, that's how life is here....good thing I have two daughters so at least one is happy at any given time.
They came with a big Easter basket for Abby. She was thrilled and wanted to open it right away.
Candy, lots of candy. I honestly think they're trying to get back at me for all the candy I gave their girls when they were young. :) Hannah and Jess turned out great, so maybe I should let Abby have more candy.
Here are a few of them. Steven, Jessie (cute smile Jess!) and Grandma Barb.
This was the first time they met Grace. They were so excited to finally get to hold her and snuggle with her. Grace is usually quiet for the first 20 minutes, but as soon as she is comfortable she starts babbling and smiling. She felt comfortable right away and Abby made a point of letting Grace know how important Grandpa Mike, Grandma Barb, Jessie, Hannah, and Steven are. Several days before they came she even went so far as to take a picture of the family and spend a tutoring lesson with Grace pointing out each of the family members. :)
