Bethlehem's Treasure

Our church is celebrating Christmas this weekend with 4 services, a live nativity and a petting zoo. We headed over to church tonight in plenty of time for the girls to visit all the animals. I was surprised at how many different ones there were, including emu. We brought Grace over to the nursery (she loves it there!) and went in to watch the program. It was called Bethlehem's Treasure and the story was told through song, carols and musical video. There were even live animals on the stage. It was such a great performance. I loved it and could feel the reality of Christ with us. Thank you Lord for sharing your son with us. This is Christmas. Abby laughed and laughed with the animals. She thought it was so fun to stick out her nose too!

Abby loved it, and Grace's face tells everything you need to know about how she felt. Apprehensive and sticking close to Abby and mom. There was one goat that was extremely loud and when he went "Baa!" Grace ran crying and screaming. A little too much for her.

This smile is great! After she calmed down she thought the pigs were hilarious.

On our way into church the girls ran over to the anchor and asked for a picture. It turned out cute!
