This past weekend we finally made it down to Indiana for my niece's birthday. We were scheduled to go last weekend, but everyone, I mean everyone, got sick. We are all feeling better now so we headed down on Saturday. This is a big birthday for Lauren. She turned 10 years old! Wow! Seriously, where did the time go?
We got her a fancy ring for her birthday. It matched her outfit perfectly.
My mom made the cutest gift for Lauren. She created a cookbook just for her. It's filled with recipes and pictures that Lauren should be able to do on her own. My mom also brought down all the ingredients for her to make these items. What a great idea! It turned out great! Lauren then made dinner for everyone and decorated a cake with her new cake pieces. Yum!!
Here are all the cousins. They all wanted a piece of the action in the kitchen.
