The birthday lives on!

Today I headed to Indiana to help some new teachers set up their classrooms. They're new to the company and new to teaching. We left at 7 this morning and didn't get home until 7 tonight. What a loooong day. After teaching for almost 13 years, it's hard to remember what a new teacher needs. There are just so many things that I take for granted. But, it was a fun day and our carpool laughed and laughed on the ride home.
Dana and the family also had a birthday present for Abby. As soon as I got her home, she ripped into it. :) She loved it!! She got a Dora butterfly net and butterfly cage. It has a little button that you push and it tells you to flap your arms like a butterfly. It was hilarious to watch Abby. She was taking the directions seriously and soon she was flapping her arms around the living room and declaring that she was a butterfly. :)
