Our Little Turkeys

We have 8 of them. 8 grandchildren in our family and they spent the whole day together. It was grand! We had our Heneveld Thanksgiving today. With my sister in town we were able to get all of us, along with a few aunts/uncles/ big cousins and even my grandma together for a feast. There were 21 of us and the table was full of fun and laughter. The girls started out playing together early this morning. Some of them are still in their pj's.

Still smiling and hugging each other at lunch time. Such cute little turkeys!

This was my year to conquer the turkey. I thought it was time for me to learn how to cook and carve a turkey. Don't you love this face? My mom was explaining to me all of the things I had to pull out of the turkey. Yuck!

But! I won! Here's the turkey all spiced up and ready for the oven. It tasted great!!

A feast!! We had to add 2 more tables so everyone could fit. It was delicious!

Yeah for mommies and daughters!

My grandma's birthday is on Thanksgiving weekend so we had a celebration for her too. She'll be 91 years old. She's amazing!

Grace finished the night cuddling with Aunt Eva and playing with her phone. It was a great night for all.
