Beautiful Blessings

We were busy today and it feels good to finally sit down. We started the morning off with doughnuts!! I rarely buy doughnuts, but Abby asked for one yesterday when we were grocery shopping and I just couldn't resist. Every day should start off with a doughnut! She bounced into the kitchen and scrambled up to the counter, just SO excited for her chocolate doughnut with sprinkles!! Thank you Lord for doughnuts.
Then it was off to church. She loves her Sunday School class and she has some great teachers and friends there. The sermon today was wonderful! I felt as though he was talking straight to me. It really hit home. During coffee hour I was able to connect with a friend I haven't seen a couple of months. It felt good to see her again. Thank you Lord for fellowship.
Right from church we headed to pick up a refugee family for lunch. It was MaSein's birthday so we went out for lunch to celebrate and then back to their apartment for cake. Abby loves hanging out with DuHuma, MaSein and Naywin. Thank you Lord for friends.
The weather here was gorgeous today!! We headed outside immediately upon coming home and played outside ALL afternoon. Abby loves the outdoors. She took everything out of the garage and played with one thing after another. Our neighbors came out too. I feel as though I always connect with neighbors more when the weather is nicer. Thank you Lord for warm weather and neighbors.
Now Abby is in bed and all is quiet in the house. Thank you Lord for quietness. Abby devoured her doughnut. She loves anything with sprinkles.
Abby and DuHuma waiting patiently for birthday cake.
First she rode her Dora bike. It's nice that we live in a cul-de-sac because she has lots of room to roam.
Just lounging around in the warm sun
Blowing bubbles is one of Abby's favorite things to do. She has dozens and dozens of bubble sticks.

Man, I wish I was home to enjoy the afternoon outdoors. Hopefulley my summer won't be like it is right now, but I doubt that.
